My name is Samia. I've lived in Canada for 11 years and I come from a tiny town in the interior of São Paulo - so tiny that it doesn't even have a traffic light! 😂
You know a place where everyone knows everyone so well they could build your whole family tree for you? The famous “so, whose child are you?”. Yup, exactly that! I'll admit I grew up annoyed by everyone minding other people's business… but after I moved here things changed.
The good side is that nobody minds my business anymore - the bad side is that literally nobody minds my business. Who doesn't miss having a support network, right?
That's why I came up with the idea of creating PertoApp! So you can find your “little group” - someone who has the same interests as you and lives at a similar pace.
PertoApp is a platform created to bring Brazilians who live in the same area closer together, connect people with shared interests and make new friendships and meetups easier. Soon it will also have a directory of small Brazilian-owned businesses and services - how about it?
